Make reading easier for pupils struggling with reading or understanding texts because of dyslexia, ASD, visual disturbances or allophone situations.
Content
What is it about ?
An application for mobiles, tablets or Chromebooks allowing a text to be captured or downloaded to PDF and tailored to pupils' needs. Possible customization of font, size, spacing of characters or lines, background colour, contrast, letters’ colours, numbers, confusing graphemes or phonemes. The principle is simple: the pupil takes a picture of the text he or she wants to read on the tablet. He/she adapts the text, personalizing the settings making it easier to read. The text can also be translated, played, printed and shared. This application incurs less tiredness and fosters pupil’s autonomy.
How to use it ?
To be used inside or outside the classroom. A compensation tool that contributes to facilitate reading access and reducing academic failure. An accurate and helpful tool for allophone pupils too. The free version makes it possible to customize 30 texts per month. Schools can get licenses for pupils or licence packages whose prices are degressive according to the number of licenses purchased.
