Lili lamp for dyslexia

With Lili, I read and live again!

The "Lili for life" lamp brings comfort through a stroboscopic effect for reading and writing to some dyslexic people.

The lamp is efficient in the following cases:

• phonological dyslexia (connecting):

This kind of dyslexia is characterised by a decoding trouble, meaning graphemes-phonemes correspondency (from written sound to oral sound).

• global shape perception of confusing letters, inversions and omissions.

• surface dyslexia (word adressing):

Words' visual aspect is not stored in the internal lexicon. Therefore irregular letters and words are not recognised by the surface dyslexic person.

This tool is to be used within the classroom in order to facilitate reading and reduce tiredness for dyslexic pupils. A test is to be planned with the pupil in order to set the lamp.
