What is it about ?

The 42 minutes tutorial in English is realized by Tullia Urschitz, science teacher, Scientix Ambassador and member of the Gender4STEM expert committee. It aims at providing to STEM teachers useful tips for increasing the interests of girls about STEM subjects, by the use of educational robotics. In the tutorial, Tullia Urschitz gives, at first, an overview about gender stereotypes in STEM, then talks about some European initiatives to contrast gender inequalities in STEM and after gives concrete examples of teaching activities in maths and science using educational robotics. She concludes by giving some useful tips and links to resources to teachers who want to get to know more about the topic.
