In light of International Women’s Day, a few women scientists were interviewed at an innovation centre in Frankfurt, Germany. They shared their stories about their respective journeys into the field of chemistry.

Chemistry is in everything and can be found in any field of our activity. The many-sided approach could be brainstorm with the students and create a mind – map with the domains in which Chemistry is paramount. Year 2019 has been declared Year of Periodic System. Through innovation and chemistry global challenges in energy, nutrition and beyond can be solved.
